ASHG honors Huda Zoghbi with Victor A. McKusick Leadership Award

(American Society of Human Genetics) Huda Zoghbi, MD, is motivated by the experience of patients, and thus her lab at Baylor College of Medicine has studied rare disorders since 1988. Her accomplishments range from discovering genes to identifying their mechanisms and studying potential therapies. Dr. Zoghbi's work demonstrates the value of genetics and genomics research across the spectrum.
